lets think about your future

The Paraeducator Apprenticeship program wanted to express its sincere appreciation and concern for all the Paraeducators who will be impacted by the closure of schools through June. Of course it's necessary to take these measures to ensure the safety and health for everyone, but we know it will be hard on you.

We are committed to expanding the Paraeducator Apprenticeship program to ensure every paraeducator has the opportunity to progress in their career.  For paraeducators in Auburn, Burlington-Edison, Mt Vernon, Sedro Woolley, Stanwood, Woodland or Snohomish school districts, the Paraeducator Apprenticeship program is available at your school district. If you are not part of the school districts listed above, we can talk with your school district to see if they would be interested.

We would love to talk with you about the benefits of the program and how to get signed up when you get back to work. See contact form. It's time to think about your future and the opportunities available to you!

Take good care of yourselves and your family!

What is apprenticeship in public education?

Apprenticeship in public education is a professional development program for new and existing staff members designed to enhance skills and knowledge to better serve the needs of the students. Apprenticeship is a proven solution to recruit, train and retain a highly skilled workforce that more accurately reflects the diversity of the student body.

  • Are you or your local school district interested in a training program that allows participants to earn while they learn?

  • Is your school district looking for a way to promote excellence in the classroom and provide affordable professional development?

  • Is your school district looking for ways to recruit and train new staff?

If you said yes to any of these questions, then we invite you to discover how your school district can participate in the Washington Public School Classified Employees Apprenticeship Program.
